Dr Rajesh Gokhale, director, Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology (IGIB), has been working on an innovative molecule that hits all four of the TB bacterium's crucial metabolic pathways at the same time, thus weakening and ultimately destroying the pathogen.
Dr Cyrus Karkaria, president, biotech division, Lupin Phama India, is looking to leverage his knowledge and expertise in drug development and commercialization, which he obtained from his past experience in the US, in order to leave a mark in the global biosimilars space.

Dr Anish Sen Majumdar, CSO, Stempeutics, who has extensive R&D experience spanning more than 19 years, particularly in the field of mesenchymal stem cells, is leading Stempeutics to conduct the first-of-its-kind clinical trials in India for its product Stempeucel for various disorders such as COPD and osteoarthritis.
