Biotech 2004
The second national conference of the Biotechnology Society of India, BioTech 2004, is being organized by the Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology (IGIB), Delhi, from October 13-15, 2004 at India International Center in New Delhi. The theme of the event is "Challenges and Opportunities in Biotechnology". BioTech 2004 will focus on the recent advances in basic and applied research towards the development of globally competitive biotechnology. The three-day conference aims to provide a comprehensive academic program with contributions from national and international faculty and young researchers from academia and biotech industries. Guest lectures, oral and poster presentations on various topics including metagenomics, functional genomics, stem cells, SiRNAs, drug target identification, and bioinformatics are a part of the event.

BioTechnica Asia 2004
Deutsche Messe AG and Hannover Fairs Asia Pte Ltd are organizing BioTechnica Asia 2004, an international trade fair for biotechnology on October 12-14 2004 at Raffles City Convention Centre in Singapore. In Vivo Molecular Imaging
