Baclofen by Zydus gets USFDA approval

Baclofen is used to treat muscle spasms caused by certain conditions such as multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury/disease
Pharma company, Zydus Cadila has received the final approval from USFDA to market Baclofen Tablets(US RLD- Lioresal) 10 mg and 20 mg.
According to the company statement, “It will be manufactured at the group’s formulations manufacturing facility at Baddi.”
Baclofen is used to treat muscle spasms caused by certain conditions such as multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury/disease. It works by helping to relax the muscles.
With this approval, Zydus now has 234 approvals and has so far filed over 340 ANDAs since the commencement of the filing process in FY 2003-04.
