With an aim to help new parents with their countless questions for their newborn, Gurugram-based Babynama, India’s first digital pediatric care platform, has raised a seed fund of $700K, led by Good Capital to accelerate its mission of delivering accessible, affordable, and expert pediatric care to parents across the country.
The round also saw participation from Amplify and prominent angels, including Abhishek Sharma (Founder, Fashinza), Ankit Gupta (Founder, Bicycle Health), Akshay Saxena (Founder, Avanti), Dhruv Dhanraj Bahl (Ex-COO, BharatPe), along with other founders from the IIT Bombay network.
The fresh funds will be used to advance its technology infrastructure, scale its team of expert pediatricians and support staff, and amplify its marketing efforts to connect with millions of parents across India, ensuring that every family has access to trusted and timely child healthcare.
Babynama offers access to expert pediatricians through a chat-first platform. With over 1.5 million queries resolved and an average response time of under two minutes, Babynama ensures parents receive timely, reliable, and personalised care. The platform’s key focus areas include 24/7 Paediatric Support, Dedicated Doctors Team, Parent Education, Community Engagement, Technology-Driven Care.
