D Y Patil, Deemed to be University, School of Pharmacy has entered into a collaborative partnership with the National Accreditation Board for Cold Chain Management (NAB-CCM) to jointly promote scientific research, skill-based training and academic-industry exchange in the cold chain and pharmaceutical sectors.
Through this partnership, both institutions will work closely on advancing scientific research by undertaking joint research projects and R&D trials. These initiatives will aim to enhance understanding and explore new frontiers in cold chain management and pharmaceutical development. The focus will be on generating real-world insights that can support both academic growth and industry application.
A key part of this collaboration is to create a robust ecosystem for education and training. Both institutions will organise workshops, training sessions and seminars tailored for students, faculty and professionals. These programmes will help bridge the gap between classroom learning and practical industry needs, while also keeping participants updated on the latest technologies and global standards in the cold chain and pharma sectors.
The collaboration will also emphasise knowledge and technology sharing. Both NAB-CCM and the University will facilitate the exchange of ideas, tools, techniques and domain expertise to ensure mutual growth and advancement. This knowledge-sharing approach is intended to foster innovation and continuous learning.
The partnership will also include efforts toward community outreach. Joint programmes will be organised to support public health awareness, disease prevention and improved access to essential healthcare services.
