Leading industry experts convene at Lindström India’s Bio-Pharma Roundtable to explore innovations and challenges

“Every person in the pharma industry has to take accountability for quality production of what they are producing- from the Chairman to the MD, the owner of the company or the board of directors down to the lowest person from whose hands the last product comes” said Shyam Khante, President of Shyam Khante & Associates.

He was speaking at the exclusive Bio-Pharma Roundtable organised by Lindström India, in association with TiE Chandigarh and BioSpectrum, held on 20th September in Baddi, that aimed to explore transformative innovations within the Indian bio-pharma sector including advancements in bio-pharma manufacturing, quality control, sustainability, and compliance with global standards.

“If medicine is produced with the same intent that what we consume will benefit ourselves, we will see the change” continued Dr Sanjit Singh Lamba from Trillyum Consulting. 

“Until we make people understand this, until we engage people, and until unless we motivate people to do work in the right way, things will never change from the pharma quality perspective”  said Avtar Singh from RQual Solutions.

The discussion was well be moderated by Dr Manbeena Chawla, Executive Editor at BioSpectrum India, who persuaded the speakers to delve on topics such as USFDA observations, strategies to enhance workwear hygiene standards, and the implementation of quality assurance measures in response to recent global health concerns. The discussions also emphasised the adoption of technological advancements and ensuring compliance with global standards, all while supporting employee well-being.
