Emversity, India's leading industry-skilling and technology partner to universities, has announced a strategic partnership with Motherhood Hospitals (Rhea Healthcare Pvt. Ltd.), one of India's largest specialty hospital chains for women and childcare, to co-create and deliver a certification programme in Maternal and Newborn Care for students enrolled in Higher Education Institutions across India.
The programme is designed to bridge academic learning with real-world clinical practices, aligning healthcare education with the competencies demanded by India's rapidly expanding maternal and neonatal care sector. Students at partner universities will receive joint certification co-issued by Emversity and Motherhood Hospitals upon completion.
Under this collaboration, Emversity will develop the curriculum in close consultation with Motherhood's clinical teams, aligning it to national skilling standards and practical relevance. Emversity will also manage delivery logistics — including trainer onboarding, student enrolment, assessments, and certification issuance — across its network of 40+ university partners in 24 states. Motherhood Hospitals will provide domain expertise, clinical validation, and industry endorsement to the programme structure.
The first batch of the programme is expected to commence in the academic year 2025-26, with an initial rollout across select Emversity partner universities.
