Indian Institute of Health Management Research (IIHMR) Bangalore, a leader in healthcare management education in India, and RED Health Academy, a pioneering institution in healthcare training and mobility, have joined hands to launch a groundbreaking programme- the Post Graduate Certificate in Management – Pre-Hospital Care (PGCM-PRHC).
This 11-month postgraduate certificate course is the first of its kind in the Global South, aimed at addressing the critical talent gap in emergency medical services (EMS) and Pre-Hospital Care at large.
Designed for healthcare professionals such as doctors, paramedics, nurses, and administrators, the programme equips participants with the managerial and clinical expertise required to excel in pre-hospital and emergency response services.
With a unique curriculum blending theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and leadership training, graduates will be prepared to manage complex EMS operations in both India and global markets.
Key Highlights of the Programme:
The programme’s first cohort will launch in Bangalore, with plans to expand to other cities across India in subsequent batches. Graduates can look forward to career opportunities in roles such as a Clinical Operations Manager, Emergency Medicine Consultant, an Advanced Paramedic or an Emergency Response Instructor, with placement opportunities extending beyond India.
