The Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT-K), through its cybersecurity Technology and Innovation Hub, C3iHub, is launching a Cybersecurity Skilling Programme to train learners in the growing landscape of cyber space and security.
The programme is supported by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India under National Mission in Interdisciplinary Cyber Physical Systems (NM-ICPS), along with C3iHub-incubated startups Threat Guardians and Workers Union Support, as the implementing partners. T
The programme aims to provide learners with a deeper understanding of the technical basics of cyberspace and cyber issues, introduce real-time cybersecurity techniques and methods, and focus on the models, tools, and techniques for enforcing security. The programme comes with a combination of deep academic rigor and intense practical approach, which will allow participants to master the required skills and build world class expertise.
It explores the most critical elements beyond technology that shape the playing field on which cybersecurity problems emerge and are managed. The course covers system security, malware analysis, network security, cryptography, and IoT security.
With healthcare and pharmaceutical companies facing major cybersecurity challenges as they hold sensitive data and deal with highly valuable technology, this progamme might offer new solutions.
