US based medical technology firm Boston Scientific Corporation has recently appointed Warren Wang as its senior vice president and president, Asia Pacific, effective January 1, 2018.
He joined Boston Scientific in 2012 as vice president and managing director for China and currently serves as president and managing director for the firm’s North Asia region, which includes China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea.
Wang previously held roles with the medical device businesses of Johnson & Johnson, including general manager of the Orthopedics group in China and leadership positions in the company’s surgical and orthopedics franchises.
Mike Mahoney, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Boston Scientific said, “The opportunities and complexities of the Asia Pacific healthcare market offer new inroads and alternatives in the advancement of market-appropriate medical technology and access to high-quality care.
