Rainbow Children’s Medicare appoints Sudarshan Patodia as Group Chief Financial Officer

Rainbow Children's Medicare, India's leading paediatric and perinatal healthcare network, has announced the appointment of Sudarshan Patodia as Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the company, with effect from 23 September, 2026. He succeeds Vikas Maheshwari, who stepped down from the position of Chief Financial Officer on 31 August 2026.

As CFO, Patodia will be responsible for overseeing Rainbow Children’s Medicare’s finance function, including business and corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, treasury, investor relations, capital allocation and financial governance. He will work closely with the leadership team to support the company’s strategic priorities and long-term growth plans.

A Chartered Accountant and Gold Medalist, Patodia brings close to two decades of experience across healthcare, retail and FMCG. His expertise spans business finance, corporate finance, treasury, financial planning and analysis, investor relations, strategy, fundraising, and mergers and acquisitions.

Before joining Rainbow Children’s Medicare, Patodia served as Chief Financial Officer at New Delhi Centre for Sight Ltd., where he led the organisation’s finance, fundraising, investor relations, strategy and M&A functions. Prior to this, he was Vice President, Finance at Vishal Mega Mart, where he contributed to the company’s growth and IPO journey. He also spent nearly 14 years at ITC Limited in corporate and business finance roles, building extensive experience across treasury, financial planning, internal audit and category finance. 

Patodia’s appointment strengthens Rainbow Children’s Medicare’s leadership team as the company continues to expand its healthcare network, enhance its clinical capabilities and pursue sustainable, long-term growth.
