Mohali-based Plaksha University has announced the appointment of Dr Ravi Jasuja as Indegene Chair for Digital Health. This is a collaborative initiative between Plaksha University and Bengaluru-based Indegene to introduce quality education in the health-tech space.
Dr Jasuja also serves as Director of Translational Research and Discovery, Research Programme in Men’s Health at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a world class academic medical center based in Boston, Massachusetts.
Over the past two decades, he has made major contributions to science at the interface of engineering and biophysics. He will be Advisor for the Indegene Digital Health initiative with students at Plaksha, and help bring an independent, academic perspective to improve the healthcare ecosystem.
Dr Jasuja is well known for his advanced research capabilities and expertise in healthcare. Dr Jasuja is one of the Founders at Plaksha and also the Co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Function Promoting Therapies LLC, XYone Inc.. He was trained as a Belfer Fellow, Biophysics/Physiology from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
