The EMPE Group has announced the appointment of Raghavendra Goud Vaggu as the Chief Executive Officer of EMPE Diagnostics Global, a WHO-recognised company specialised in the precision diagnosis of tuberculosis.              

A seasoned business leader with 25 years of experience in the biotech, biopharma industry, Vaggu was leading Cytiva (a former GE Healthcare life-sciences company) for India & South Asia, managing a team of 160 associates with approx. 2000 crore revenue.  Having extensive knowledge and experience in engineering, research and global commercial operations, he is one of the well-known executive leaders in the bio-industry.

He has also received several national and international awards and played a significant role during the pandemic by providing all the COVID-19 vaccine manufacturers with the necessary tools, technology and support on time. He is cited in leading newspapers and business journals and was recognised as one of the top luminaries in the biopharma space by BioSpectrum in their 20th Edition.

Other than his present role in EMPE Diagnostics Global, he also serves on the board of Advisors/Directors at Xact Diagnotek, ATGC Biotech, GenePoweRx and TranScell Biologics, some of the leading startups in the new age technologies. He is also on the board of studies at KIIT Bhuvaneshwar and is a technical expert on the BIG – BIRAC evaluation panel and a few other funding agencies.
