Mumbai-based ACG, an integrated pharmaceutical and nutraceutical manufacturing solutions provider, has announced that Shankar Gupta will be re-joining the business in the newly created role of Chief Sales Officer.

In his new role, Gupta will be responsible for driving sales across all four ACG divisions (Films and Foils, Capsules, Inspection and Engineering) in order to continue building the company’s ‘One ACG’ agenda. Essentially, this will involve bringing further uniformity to ACG's customer outreach processes, creating more integrated solutions, and ultimately providing a consistent brand experience to ACG’s global customers, regardless of business division or location. He will also focus on scaling new initiatives.

Gupta will report directly into the Managing Director, Karan Singh. He is expected to be playing a pivotal in calibrating and aligning the company's business units to the goal of ‘Making it Better’, and the belief that everyone deserves access to good medicine.
