Philips India has announced the appointment of Mr. Rohit Sathe as President in Philips India Healthcare. The designation is operational from December 4th, 2017.

Rohit will be a part of the Philips India Leadership team and will be responsible for bringing in leadership experience and extensive industry knowledge to contribute to Philips’ overall growth plans.

He will administer key initiatives to improve access to healthcare in the areas of prevention, diagnostics and treatment. 

Almost two decades of work experience in the healthcare, Rohit Sathe is also having knowledge and experience of construction and e-learning industries in India and UK.

He has joined Philips from Johnson & Johnson Medical India (JJMI) where his last role was Senior Director of Strategy, Key Accounts and International (SAARC) Business.

He has vast awareness and understanding of healthcare as he worked in the Cardiology, Orthopaedics and Neuro segments for12+ years of tenure at J&J.

His achievements include launching coronary drug eluting stents (DES), integrating the recently acquired Synthes business into J&J and turning around and improving profitability of the Trauma and Neuro businesses.

Philips target of touching 200 million patients in India by 2025 will be in reach by Rohit Sathe’s presence, as he is having ironic experience in sales, marketing strategy and project management across diverse industries.
