Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC), Government of India, has announced  Technology Transfer and Commercialization Training-2019 Under National Biopharma Mission (NBM) of Department of Biotechnology (DBT).

Through a series of planned technology transfer training programs, NBM intends to strengthen overall capacity in the country in technology transfer. The training programs planned will provide conceptual as well as applied learning experience to participants and progressively build required skills.

This training program is tailored for professionals with applied exposure and for individuals with relevant education background in IP/Tech transfer who wish to pursue this as career path.

To ensure healthy learning cohort for such an applied learning program, it is essential that the program has a balanced mix of participants. The selection criteria will include considerations on participant’s individual profile and to a limited extent the institutional engagement in translational research. Cohort size for each of the two programs planned will be about 25 to 30 participants.
