This achievement marks Qure.ai's first large language model patent

Mumbai-based startup Qure.ai, a global leader in healthcare artificial intelligence (AI), has announced its 12th patent in India, awarded by the Indian Patent Office for ‘A system and method for detecting lung abnormalities in a medical image.’
This patent represents Qure.ai’s first for a large language model (LLM), highlighting the company’s advancements in medical imaging and AI. With this latest addition, Qure.ai’s global patent portfolio now stands at 29.
Qure.ai’s system combines imaging AI and LLM models to integrate image analysis and patient data for accurate diagnoses, providing an abnormality confidence score to enhance reliability.
It tracks lung abnormalities over time, aiding in disease progression monitoring and treatment planning. The self-evolving model improves with each input, staying updated with the latest medical knowledge. Designed for scalability, it incorporates new medical data and imaging techniques while integrating seamlessly with hospital information systems and EHRs.
With a presence in over 90 countries and more than 2,700 sites, Qure.ai has positively impacted over 20 million lives to date.
