India accounts for 20% of the world’s share of deaths associated with liver diseases
HexaHealth, a startup that aims to support quality medical treatment for all, is all set to address a critical need in the healthcare segment – the need for expert and timely treatment of liver issues, as they announce the country's first-of-its-kind National Liver Board on the occasion of World Liver Day, on April 19th.
This first-of-its-kind panel consists of top doctors in the field including liver transplant specialist Dr KR Vasudevan, medical gastroenterologist Dr Manik Sharma, interventional radiologist Dr CPS Chauhan, medical oncologist Dr Atul Sharma and radiation oncologist Dr Abhishek Gulia.
These renowned doctors, all experts in their own specialised fields, have the combined experience of serving over 5 lakh patients. With their focussed expertise covering all aspects of liver diseases and their treatment, the board will be able to advice on the best approach to the management of patients of liver ailments. Their recommendations will guide not only the treating doctor regarding the suitable course of action, but also provide the patient with a better understanding of his or her condition and its management.
With a singular focus on making the surgery experience for patients convenient, stress-free and simple, HexaHealth is currently operating in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Jaipur. By the end of this year, HexaHealth plans to have a strong presence in all major cities across India.
