IIT-D startup designs one stop destination for OTC medicines

Better Health Technologies India Pvt. Ltd., incubated at IIT Delhi has designed India’s first of its kind smart technology driven product-- Med-Genie- a multi-dimensional platform that can provide over-the-counter(OTC) medicines, hygiene products for women and some healthy snacks.
The startup plans to install the first machine in February this year, with the intention to plant around 100 machines by the end of the year at some vital places.
The machine has 13 compartments of which 8 are for OTC / Ayurvedic medicines, 2 for sanitary pads and 3 for health snacks like protein bars. There is a tablet with built in UI / UX so that people could easily use the machine and make digital payments through PayTM.
