Bangalore Bioinnovation Centre signs MoU with JETRO

The MoU aims for further understanding and exchanging the innovations and technologies between Karnataka and Japan

Bangalore Bioinnovation Centre (BBC), a Bioincubation centre promoted by Department of IT, BT and S&T, Government of Karnataka supported by DBT, Government of India and JETRO, a Japanese Trade Organization have officially agreed to build mutual cooperation by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The MoU was signed by Dr Jitendra Kumar (Managing Director, BBC) and Mr Takashi Suzuki (Director General, JETRO) in presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka, Shri B S Yediyurappa and Deputy Chief Minister Shri C N Ashwath Narayan.

The MoU aims for further understanding and exchanging the innovations and technologies between Karnataka and Japan. BBC is majorly involved in innovations in different areas; biotech, pharma, health care, medtech, environment, industrial biotech etc.

The MoU shall cover all these fields of work and shall help to enhance and launch many technologies in market.
