The Union Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship(MSDE), Government of India has selected Pune-based Venture Center the technology business incubator hosted by the CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory for the  National Entrepreneurship Award 2019 in the category of Incubation Centres .

The Venture Center received the award on 9^th November 2019 at the hands of Dr. Mahendra Nath Pandey, Union Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and other cabinet ministers, prominent entrepreneurs, senior government officials, industry, mentors, credit agencies, incubators, academia and young students from across the country.

This award recognizes the outstanding efforts of Venture Center in building a rich ecosystem for entrepreneurs and developing a successful incubation program for supporting start-ups.

On the occasion of the award, Dr. V Premnath, Director , Venture Center said “ The Venture Center is grateful for this recognition which is a recognition for all the team members, board members, mentors, well-wishers, entrepreneur, all the members of Venture Center’s innovation ecosystem who have worked collectively to nurture the start-ups that we can all be proud of”

Venture Center has previously been the recipient of National Award for TBIs in 2015 and Asian Association of Business Incubator’s “Incubator of the year” Award in 2018.

Venture Center is India’s top Inventive Enterprises Incubator that has worked with 450+ entrepreneurs to date.
