In a move to take the country’s medical device segment to a new horizon, vTitan Corporation, healthcare startup backed up by Zoho Corp, launched its patented syringe infusion pumps designed for patients under critical care.

Accuflow SP-550 and Accuflow IBP-550 Syringe Infusion Pumps are carved to cater critical care medication administration. These devices are used to inject accurate and safe infusion of medication. These pumps can prove a real handy and appropriate device for the patients undergoing chemotherapy, heart surgery or taking pain medication among other examples, whose drug dosages need to be administered and monitored precisely.

Accuflow SP-550 is designed to be used in hospitals with uninterrupted power supply and the Accuflow IBP-550 includes an integrated battery pack for portable and patient transfer applications. Both pumps provide higher infusion accuracy combined with easy-to-use, award-winning User Interface.

The company informed that for the first it has used a closed-loop technology in these devices and it has patent this technology in seven countries including North America, China, UK and India. The Company also expects to receive a CE certification for the devices by March. A CE mark on a product indicates that it complies health, safety and environmental protection standards necessary for sale within the European Economic Area.
