Jubilant Life Sciences an integrated pharmaceuticals and life sciences company received the prestigious "NDTV Profit Business Leadership Award 2012" in the category of "Corporate Social Responsibility" at an award ceremony recently.

The company was awarded for its social initiatives of the carried out under the aegis of Jubilant Bhartia Foundation (JBF). The foundation follow 4P model (Public-Private-People-Partnership) and it cover 65 villages in India, educating over 13,500 children, providing basic healthcare to 350,000 people and training up to 2500 youth every year.

Mr. Shyam S Bhartia, chairman and managing director, Jubilant Life Sciences received the award from Dr. Montek Singh Ahluwalia, deputy chairman, Planning Commission, government of India.

Speaking on the development, Mr. Shyam S Bhartia, and Mr. Hari S Bhartia, co-chairman and managing director, said, "We are delighted to receive this award.
