| International Dialogue for World Science Festival-2003 and Celebration of DNA Double Helix Golden Jubilee |
The remarkable discovery of the double helix structure of the DNA molecule as announced by James Watson & Crick Wilkins will be completing 50 years this year. Scientist, world over, will be celebrating the Golden Jubilee of the DNA Double Helix during February 2003. Commemorating this historic and memorable event, the Department of Biotechnology is organizing an “International Dialogue for World Science Festival-2003 and Celebration of DNA Double Helix Golden Jubilee�. DNA Structure, Genomics, DNA & Health, Diversity and Bio-informatics will be broadly discussed in this Dialogue. There will be thematic lecture on the subject “What is life�?
