Mapmygenome India announced the start of operations in Delhi-NCR beginning June 1, 2015 and an expanded team including changes in top management. This is their first team expansion following a Pre Series A round of USD 1.1 million funding in March 2015.

The strategic move to start operations in Delhi-NCR aims to close the gap by fulfilling an existing need for genomic testing and genetic counselling services in North India. The Delhi team will focus on more personalized and efficient genomics services there. Access to North India markets will also help in targeted efforts for raising awareness about genomics testing.

The new team in Delhi comprises Chief Medical Officer - Dr. Naveen Talwar, VP Business Development - Dr. Jaishree Srinivasan, senior genetic counselors, admin, and sales personnel. Additions to Hyderabad team include Sr. VP Operations - Wing Commander (Dr.) M.K. Bose and marketing team.
