The Pink Meet, 2014, saw the assembling of 150 doctors at Trident, BKC, Mumbai, discussing on what is novel in the treatment and care for breast cancer and lot more. The two day event was organized by Dr L H Hiranandani Hospital.
Not restricting the topics to treatment and care the doctors made it a point to focus on the social impact of breast cancer along with the topic of concern 'Fertility beyond breast cancer'. Mr Niranjan Hiranandani, chief managing trustee of Dr L H Hiranandani Hospital inaugurated the conference. Leading cancer specialists includes Padma Shri Dr Rajendra Badwe, Padma Shri Dr Suresh Advani and many other experts share their insights and experiences on the new innovation and evolution in the treatment and point of care for breast cancer.

As per the reports India roughly records 100,000 new cases annually, the study also suggest that would be 3 percent increase per year to add to the present number. In 2014, an estimated 425,000 women will die from breast cancer and that number doesn't stop there but will rise to 750,000 by 2030.
