MDIS announces intake of students, Indians to get special rebate

The 12-month Master's programme offers the opportunity for fresh graduates and experienced practitioners and others interested in Healthcare Management to attain the diverse skill-sets required in sustaining a life-long career in the modern healthcare sector.

The course would equip professionals to apply business applications and management principles in the healthcare industry.

Successful completion of the programme will prepare them with the critical knowledge and abilities necessary to advance into a leadership or administrative position in the sector.

Admission Qualification:

A recognized Bachelor's degree
English Proficiency - Applicants are required to achieve a minimum band of 6.5 in IELTS (International English Language Testing System) conducted by the British Council

Please note that all decisions regarding acceptance of candidates to the course will be made by Northumbria University. Candidates who have completed the first degree from a recognized institution (where programmes are taught in English) are normally regarded as demonstrating the required English proficiency.

Fees Payable: Application Fee: S$321.00; Tuition Fee: S$25,680.00

Duration: Full-time: 12-months divided into three terms. Two modules per term for two terms and a dissertation in the third term.

Grant: MDIS is providing a special rebate of S$1284 to Indian students applying this year. Additionally, under the '2014 International Student Tuition Grant', MDIS is providing a grant of S$2000, for all students applying before 30th June.

Please note that (a) students who are awarded MDIS' Merit Scholarship will not be eligible for the 2014 International Student Tuition Grant and (b) students who are entitled for this 2014 International Student Tuition Grant have to be in class by 31st December 2014.

Exit Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate on successful completion of 2 modules (equivalent to a total of 60 credits)
  • Postgraduate Diploma on the successful completion of 4 modules (equivalent to a total of 120 credits)

Last date of application: 20th August 2014

Class Commencement Date: 20th October 2014
