DCGI opens up to public grievances

DCGI's office has been often at the receiving end of criticism on the lack of a two way communication.

DCGI's office has been often at the receiving end of criticism on the lack of a two way communication.

In a notification issued on July 07, 2014, the Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) office has mentioned that it intends to address the grievances of the public and those concerned in a systematic manner.

The notice was in continuation with the office order number DCGI/Misc/2014  dated 25 June 2014 with respect to public issues.

Mr Aseem Sau, deputy drugs controller general of India, would be now available in Room no.1 in FDA Bhavan from Monday to Friday along with Mr Kasi Venugopal and Mr Dinesh Kumar, drug inspectors, to recieve the public complaints and listen to the issues.

The appellants can give their statement in writing along with the relevant documents for further action.
