The Clinical Trials Registry - India (CTRI) is a web based system (www.ctri.nic.in) for registering clinical trials in India and its neighbouring countries which are not having such facility. It was launched on July 20, 2007. It establishes, for the first time in India, an unbiased, scientific public record of clinical trials being conducted in the country which is freely available.

It serves as a platform for registering all clinical trials on health products including drugs, devices, vaccines, herbal drugs etc. The CTRI is recognized as a Primary Register by the WHO and connected to the search portal of the International Clinical Trials Registry Platform (ICTRP). The objective of CTRI is to collect information on clinical trials undertaken in India and make this information available to the public.
