MSD (tradename of Merck & Co., Inc., Rahway, N.J., USA) has announced the opening of its expanded Hyderabad Tech Centre, a new facility supporting enterprise digital technology capabilities across artificial intelligence, data, digital platforms, cybersecurity, cloud, automation and software engineering and more.
The Centre was inaugurated by D. Sridhar Babu, Minister for Information Technology, Electronics & Communications, Industries & Commerce and Legislative Affairs, joined by Abhishek Narayan Singh, senior vice president, Digital Human Health, MSD.
Building on MSD’s long-standing presence in India, the expanded office enhances the company’s global technology network and brings together technology talent focused on developing scalable digital solutions that help advance MSD’s purpose of saving and improving lives.
Since its launch in 2025, the Hyderabad Tech Centre has grown in scale and scope as an important part of MSD’s global technology network. The expanded facility adds capacity for Hyderabad-based teams to contribute to enterprise technology solutions, collaborate with colleagues globally and help advance the digital capabilities that support MSD’s work to deliver innovative solutions for human and animal health around the world.
Together with strategic partnerships that support manufacturing excellence and reliable access to medicines, the inauguration reflects the breadth of capabilities being developed across India to support MSD's efforts to improve health outcomes for patients.

Through our Next-Gen Life Sciences Policy 2026–30, we are bringing discovery, manufacturing, clinical research and technology together, giving Hyderabad a unique global advantage. We will soon reach 100 GCCs this year, building on the 75+ established last year and creating 4 lakh direct and indirect high-value opportunities across Telangana.”
