Shilpa Biologicals appoints Dr Uday Harle as new Chief Executive Officer

Shilpa Medicare has announced the appointment of Dr Uday N. Harle as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Shilpa Biologicals, its wholly owned subsidiary.

The appointment takes effect on August 03, 2026, marking a strategic leadership addition to the company's biologics division. This move aims to leverage Dr Harle's extensive experience in the global biopharmaceutical sector to drive growth and operational efficiency within the subsidiary.

Dr Harle brings approximately 24 years of experience in the global biopharmaceutical industry. His expertise includes over 18 years in biologics and biosimilars and more than 14 years in leadership roles across research and development, clinical development, regulatory affairs, manufacturing, commercialisation, and business management.
