Enzene launches NeX™ for high-yield local organic biopharma production

Enzene, Pune-based continuous innovation development and manufacturing (CIDMO) company, has announced the launch of NeX™, a transformative end-to-end partnership model that enables governments, institutions and biopharmaceutical companies to build world-class biomanufacturing capabilities where they need them.

Leveraging the proven EnzeneX Fully-Connected Continuous Manufacturing™ (FCCM)™ platform, NeX offers a turnkey, scalable, and sustainable solution to make cutting-edge biologics manufacturing innovations transferable, close to patients and supply chains, without the prohibitive upfront investment required by conventional fed-batch facilities. By promoting local manufacturing based on the FCCM platform, governments can significantly improve affordability and patient access to life-saving biologics.®

Enzene's NeX programme includes full coordination of set-up and launch, with support for facility design and construction, technology transfer and intellectual property licensing for the EnzeneX platform, staff skills development through the company's SparX™ structured training programme, as well as ongoing operational support during the start-up and commercialisation phase. Where appropriate, participating organisations will also be able to benefit from access to certain products from Enzene's biosimilar portfolio in order to manufacture them in their own regions.
