Shri Satya Sai Heart Hospital Ahmedabad and Shri Satya Sai Heart Hospital Rajkot has signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Gujarat Health Department for free heart surgeries.
On this special occasion, the MoU was signed between Gujarat Health Department Secretary, Dr Ratankanvar H. Gadhavicharan (Commissioner of Health (Rural) & Mission Director, National Health Mission) and Manoj Bhimani, Managing Trustee of Shri Satya Sai Heart Hospital.
Under this agreement, completely free heart surgery will be done in Shri Satya Sai Heart Hospital in Rajkot and Ahmedabad for all the needy children and adults of Gujarat state. Initially, patients suffering from heart disease from 6 districts of the state will be sent to Shri Satya Sai Heart Hospital in Ahmedabad for free treatment.
This hospital has signed agreements with different states of the country, including Odisha, Rajasthan, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Jharkhand and the Union Territory of Leh Ladakh, where patients suffering from heart disease are treated free of cost. Gujarat is the 9th state with which Shri Sathya Sai Heart Hospital has signed an agreement.
