Manipal Hospitals will launch a vaccination drive exclusively for the transgender community as a part of their #Vax4ALL campaign. From June 29 onwards till July 3, 2021, Manipal Hospitals will be providing vaccination slots for the transgender community at Manipal Hospitals Old Airport Road. A formidable team of Manipal Hospitals frontline workers will be present to ensure a seamless vaccination process for the transgender community.
“As citizens of the country and above all, as humanitarians, we need to realise that we are combating this pandemic together. We, at Manipal Hospitals, firmly believe that an essential commodity, such as the vaccine, shouldn’t be denied to anyone based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, or sexual orientation. Hence, this Pride Month, we have launched a vaccination drive especially for the transgender community,” remarks Karthik Rajagopal, COO, Manipal Health Enterprises.
