PharmEasy completes acquisition of Medlife

With Medlife’s current reach across 465+ cities, the merger will further boost PharmEasy’s efforts to provide quality healthcare services in India

PharmEasy concluded its acquisition of Medlife. Medlife has discontinued its services and all its users will be migrated to PharmEasy. The acquisition which took place in January 2021, was aimed at creating a strong unified platform to accelerate the mission of providing quality healthcare to a larger population.

With Medlife’s current reach across 465+ cities, it will further boost PharmEasy’s efforts to provide quality healthcare services in India. It will also ensure a focused approach towards the consumer’s needs through the ‘PharmEasy’platform. With this major consolidation in the fast-growing online pharmacy sector, PharmEasy has now become the largest healthcare delivery platform across the country, catering to more than two million families every single month.

To enable a smooth transition, Medlife customers need to login into the PharmEasy app using their Medlife account credentials. Their digitised prescriptions and saved addresses dating back to a year will be available on the PharmEasy app. PharmEasy will also be looking forward to onboarding Medlife’s retail partners and continuing their journey with the brand. Pharmeasy currently works with around 80,000 pharmacies and intends to expand that to 1,20,000 outlets across 100 cities by the end of 2021.
