New strategic partnership to strengthen Telangana’s MedTech innovation ecosystem

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Research and Innovation Circle of Hyderabad (RICH) and the Medical Devices Park Industrial Welfare Association (MDPIWA), Telangana at T-Hub, for establishing a strategic partnership to further strengthen Telangana’s MedTech innovation ecosystem.

This collaboration creates a structured framework for advancing key areas of ecosystem development, including international market access and strategic global partnerships, industry–research linkages, startup engagement and innovation support, joint MedTech conclaves and knowledge‑exchange platforms, and accelerated pathways for technology commercialisation.

Through this MoU, RICH and MDPIWA will jointly enable deeper integration between the Medical Devices Park, home to more than 70 medical device companies, and the broader innovation landscape comprising researchers, clinicians, healthcare institutions, and international collaborators. The partnership aims to catalyse innovation, support the development of high‑impact medical technologies, and enhance the global competitiveness of Telangana’s MedTech sector.

Together, RICH and MDPIWA look forward to building a stronger, innovation‑driven, and globally connected MedTech ecosystem, creating meaningful opportunities for collaboration, growth, and technological advancement in Telangana and beyond.
