Toothsi’s parent company MakeO raises Rs 90 Cr to scale Asia’s largest consumer Dental Tech Platform

Mumbai-based MakeO (parent company of the leading Indian clear aligner brand, Toothsi), has raised Rs 90 crore in funding. The round was led by Singularity AMC alongside participation from funds and family offices such as DSP family office, Genesis, Unispace ventures. The funding underscores investor confidence in MakeO's mission to build a world class aligner and dental technology platform for India and Southeast Asia.

This fundraise follows on MakeO’s acquisition of Singapore headquartered Zenyum, expanding its presence across Southeast Asian dental-care markets. Together, the group now operates a combined network of about 1,100 partner dentists in 10 countries across India, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Japan. This positions the group among Asia's top aligner and oral-care platforms.

MakeO has also acquired Apple Dental, a 20-clinic chain in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, strengthening its presence beyond India's major metros. MakeO's integrated planning and manufacturing hub in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) for its US-FDA approved aligners, is among the largest integrated facilities of its kind, producing over a million aligners a year, reaching dentists and consumers across 150+ Indian cities and exporting to 10+ countries through the Toothsi and Zenyum networks.

Dr Pravin Shetty, Co-founder, MakeO, said: “We are building a truly digital, AI-first dental-orthodontic platform. At the heart of MMR, we have set up a US FDA – 510(k) cleared aligner product manufacturing facility with a 3D virtual AI based orthodontic treatment planning centre of excellence.”
