C-Care, the leading private healthcare provider in Mauritius, and Healthcare Global Enterprises (HCG), the leader in India in speciality healthcare services focused on oncology, have entered into a strategic partnership.
This collaboration marks an important milestone in the local healthcare sector. Under the terms of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), HCG will offer clinical and outpatient consultation (OPD) services at the C-Care Cancer Center, located within C-Care Darné, in Floréal. These services will be facilitated by HCG doctors specializing in specific areas of oncology.
The partnership focuses on five key areas: cutting-edge clinical services, training and knowledge-sharing, advanced diagnostic services, facilitation of patient referrals, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. HCG will provide oncologists specialising in specific and complex cases of cancer to Mauritian patients, ensuring access to the most advanced care. Patients will benefit from personalised treatments, coupled with international expertise.
C-Care's nuclear medicine staff will receive training from HCG experts to enhance their skills and knowledge, supporting the professional development of the Mauritian teams and improving patient care. Nuclear medicine is a medical specialty that uses the properties of radioactivity for medical purposes.
C-Care patients can be referred to HCG for PET scans, including both conventional and digital PET scans, at preferential rates. The agreement also guarantees patient follow-up and continuity of care. Mauritians requiring advanced cancer treatments that are not available locally will be referred to HCG hospitals in India, ensuring access to comprehensive care options.
