Gynovation, a distinct platform created by Mumbai-based Bharat Serums and Vaccines Limited (BSV) a leading biopharmaceutical company in India, in partnership with Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India (FOGSI) and Women with Wings, a patient support group, aims to provide a platform to showcase innovations that have immense benefits to women,  spread continuous professional development on the latest technological and medical advancements in women’s health.

Launched on 20 July, the opening edition of Gynovation witnessed a stellar line up of speakers comprising Dr Jaydeep Tank, President, FOGSI; Dr Parikshit Tank, Treasurer, FOGSI; Dr Kshitiz Murdia, CEO, Indira IVF Group; Dr V P Paily, Sr. Consultant, and Dr Ratna Devi, Founder, Women with Wings. 

The discussions broadly covered future avenues of innovations in gynaecology, developing a growth and entrepreneurial mindset, addressing challenges and opportunities in women’s health and innovators sharing insights on their valuable innovations in women’s health. 

Speaking on the initiative, Dr Jaydeep Tank, President, FOGSI, said, “Reports suggest that while women are half of the world’s population, only 1% of health care research spending goes toward female-specific conditions not related to cancer. Innovation is the need of the hour. Medical innovations, social innovations, innovations in patient care and treatment protocols, will lead the way for a significant impact on women’s health and well-being."
