$2.1 million reprogrammed to align with two transformative projects
A groundbreaking partnership has been announced between Blockchain for Impact (BFI) and UNICEF, led by Sandeep Nailwal, Founder, BFI and Cynthia McCaffrey, UNICEF representative to India, respectively. This strategic alliance, operating within the India District Full Stack Fund (IDFS) vertical of BFI, signifies a pivotal moment in advancing public health strengthening and collaborative problem-solving.
Rooted in theshared commitment to innovation and community empowerment, this partnership aims to revolutionise public health practices. By harnessing the power of human-centric design principles and grassroots-driven solutions, both organisations are embarking on a transformative journey to reshape the landscape of public health.
Under this partnership, $2.1 million will be reprogrammed to align with two transformative projects. The first, to strengthen the State Health Resource Center (SHRC) in Meghalaya towards building the state capability to solve complex public health challenges with an allocation of $900,000.
The second is a pan-India health and climate resilience fellowship with an allocation of $1.2 million to bolster state and ground partner capacity across 5-7 States in devising local solutions using human-centric design (HCD) principles.
