In Nandurbar, Jakson Infra will be building a 100-seat government medical college in addition to a 500-bed hospital
In a landmark event for Maharashtra's healthcare sector, the Prime Minister (PM) has laid the foundation stone for a new 500-bed hospital along with 100-seat Government Medical College in Nandurbar. This significant project, undertaken by Jakson Infra, a business unit of the leading energy and infrastructure solutions company, Jakson Limited, headquartered in Noida, heralds a new era in medical facilities for the region.
The ceremony was graced by Chief Minister of Maharashtra and other esteemed dignitaries including healthcare professionals, and local community members, government officials celebrating the launch of this advanced healthcare infrastructure.
With an investment of more than Rs 600 crore, the project includes the construction of the medical college, hospital, and related buildings, dedicated to enhancing healthcare services for tribal communities and the wider population of Nandurbar and is expected to be completed by February 2026.
With a focus on improving healthcare facilities nationwide particularly in rural areas, the Prime Minister highlighted governments vision of providing accessible and affordable healthcare system.
