Advanced Enzymes is the largest Indian enzyme company with global leadership in the manufacturing enzymes. It provides eco-safe solutions to a wide variety of industries including human healthcare and nutrition, animal nutrition, baking, fruit & vegetable processing, brewing & malting, grain processing, protein modification, dairy processing, specialty applications, textile processing, leather processing, paper & pulp processing, biofuels, biomass processing, and biocatalysis. It aims to replace traditionally used chemicals with eco-friendly enzymatic solutions.
The company exports across 6 continents, and witnessed revenue growth of 31 percent and profit growth of 58 percent during FY2015-16.
The company attributes its growth to its laser-focus on nutraceuticals, food and feed enzymes. Its state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and R&D centers are located across India and the US, offering 100 enzyme products.
The company comprises of 6 subsidiaries of which, 2 are wholly-owned subsidiaries and 3 are step-down subsidiaries. Advanced Enzymes USA, California, caters to the American markets. While Advanced Enzymes India caters to the European and Asian markets.
In India, the company has 2 subsidiaries, Advanced Enzytech Solutions and Advanced Bio Agro Tech. The former focuses on the industrial processing market in South Asia, the latter focuses on the animal nutrition market in the same region.
For FY2016-17, Advanced Enzymes aims to expand its geographical footprint beyond its current 50 countries.
The company is aware and is catering to consumers who are increasingly adopting enzyme-based nutraceuticals. More and more industries becoming aware of green technologies and are keen on adopting them.
