Transasia felicitated by Minister of S&T

At the recently held Association of Practising Pathologists (APP) National Pathcon and Lab Expo 2015, Mr Suresh Vazirani, chairman and managing director - Transasia Bio-Medicals was felicitated and commended for Transasia's 'Pioneer of Make in India Concept' initiative. This was bestowed by the Honorable Minister of Science and Technology and Earth Sciences, Government of India.
Dr Harsh Vardhan, the Hon'ble Minister of India, acknowledged the role of the APP in the areas of Continuing Medical Education and Quality Assurance. He further appreciated their efforts in organizing CME activities and proficiency testing programmes, thereby helping a large number of medical laboratories in improving their services, ultimately benefitting the common man.
The Association of Practising Pathologists founded in the year 2001, started with a 'dream and mission' of achieving high quality in all the diagnostic laboratories. It has been organizing its annual event in the form of PATHCON every year. This was the 2nd National Conference and was held at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The conference was attended by over 500 eminent and well-known doctors and practicing pathologists from various parts of Northern India.
Transasia Bio-Medicals founded by Mr Vazirani, a true visionary, has led the organization for over three decades to become the largest Indian In-Vitro Diagnostic Company. It has pioneered the 'Make in India' initiative in 1991 with the indigenous manufacture of lab equipments and analyzers. Transasia now has three state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in India for fully automatic random access analyzers, Elisa readers, HPLC system for HbA1c among other advanced products.
