New technology to diagnose hypertension in pregnancy

The company launched the first-of-its-kind biomarker, PLGF (Placental Growth Factor) to meet the alarming threat of the expecting mothers in recent times.

PLGF (Placental Growth Factor) is used for accurate diagnosis and prognosis of 'pre-eclampsia', a major cause of maternal, fetal, neonatal morbidity and mortality.

As per the industry findings, it is postulated that the incidence of pre-eclampsia is around 10-12 percent amongst Indian women irrespective of zones, against an incidence of 5-8 percent in developed countries.
