Hairline International Hair and Skin Clinic has launched a therapy for patients of advanced hair loss called Designer Hair Restoration. Patients diagnosed with hair loss grade 5, 6 and 7 often face numerous challenges in getting a head full of hair. With Designer Hair Restoration, there is now new hope for such patients. The process involves the use of multiple techniques of hair transplant, scalp micro-pigmentation (SMP) and customized hair units to give a patient a natural look.
Speaking on Designer Hair Restoration, Dr. Dinesh Gowda, Dermatosurgeon, Hairline International Hair and Skin Clinic says, “With this process we begin with the frontal region where we do a hair transplant. The resultant growth takes around 3-9 months to be seen. During this time, to give it a little more density, we utilize SMP. This is done over 2-3 sessions with a gap of a 15 days to a month between each session. At this time, the shading and colour is matched to the transplanted hair. At the end of this time period, the transplanted hair will have grown to a level where a customized hair piece of the same colour and density is created and applied to the back of the head. The merger of all three of these elements ensures of full head of hair”.
Speaking on the reasons for introducing Designer Hair Restoration, Dr. Bani Anand, Founder and Managing Director, Hairline International says, “For men with greater grades of baldness, the donor area can be of serious limitation. This makes hair transplant a problem. While the option of body hair transplant does exist, it does not yield optimum results and can be very painful. In such cases, the combined use of hair transplant, SMP and a customized hair piece is a viable option and a complete one”.
