Stem Cells: Premises & Promises
The National Institute for Research Health, Indian Council of Medical
Research, Indian Society for the Study of Reproduction and Fertility and
Histostem, Inc., USA, will conduct an international symposium on "Stem
Cells: Premises & Promises for Research & Therapeutics", in Mumbai
on September 18-21, 2005.
The symposium will be an interactive forum for scientists involved in stem cell research to deliberate on the current scenario and identify future directions for research and therapeutic applications. The symposium would also serve as a platform to enhance awareness of the advances in stem cell research among the scientific community, to develop interactions between the scientists, and to establish linkages with national and international institutions working in the area.
The major and pivotal problem of ethical issues concerning embryonic stem cells and therapeutic cloning will also be deliberated to evolve national policies. The symposium will be a Satellite to the meeting of the Global Forum for Health Research, being held in Mumbai during September 12-16, 2005.

Drug Discovery to Clinical Trials
IBC Life Sciences will organize Drug Discovery to Clinical Trials

Pharma Expo 2005

BioThailand 2005
BioThailand 2005 will be organized at The Queen Sirikit National Convention

Protein Symposium 2005
The Protein Society will organize the 19th Annual Symposium on July
30-August 3, 2005 in Boston, Massachusetts. The symposium will feature over 50
invited speakers and will include sessions on protein-ligand interactions, the
assembly and function of molecular machines, protein misfolding and amyloid
formation, protein engineering and design. Three special sessions on systems
biology will be offered including an opening plenary session and two award
