A groundbreaking partnership has been announced between the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO), aimed at fortifying the Testing and Validation Ecosystem for In Vitro Diagnostics (IVDs).

Both organisations have formalised their collaboration through a signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This partnership heralds a new era of synergy, innovation, and excellence in the realm of healthcare diagnostics.

The focus of this collaboration is to enhance the quality, efficacy, and safety of IVDs through robust testing and validation mechanisms. By leveraging the collective expertise and resources of ICMR and CDSCO, MedTech Mitra is poised to revolutionise the landscape of diagnostic technologies in India.

MedTech Mitra was recently launched by the government as a strategic initiative to empower medtech innovators and advance healthcare solutions.
