The Society of Clinical Research and Medical Professionals (SCRMP) is set to host its prestigious Annual International Conference 2025 on August 23, 2025, at Medicaps University, Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
With the theme “The Future of Drug Safety: From Clinical Trials to Real-World Evidence,” the event promises to be a landmark gathering of global leaders in pharmacovigilance, regulatory science, clinical research; Academician’s and students.
The conference will feature participation from over 14 international organizations, including IQVIA, Syneos Health, Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS), Freyr Solutions, Novartis, and Clinxel, reinforcing SCRMP’s role as a dynamic platform for industry-academia collaboration and policy dialogue in life sciences.
Key figures leading the event include Gurpreet Singh, Vice President at IQVIA (UK) and President of SCRMP; DrTarunjot Singh, Director at Syneos Health (UK) and Vice President of SCRMP; and Mohammad Gayoor Khan, Co-Founder & General Secretary of SCRMP. These leaders, alongside Dr. Umama Yezdani, Founder of SCRMP, envision the conference as a platform to bridge academia and real-world industry practice, empowering young professionals and driving regulatory innovation.

Academic Publishing Milestone
In a major academic initiative, SCRMP will officially launch the first issue of the “Journal of Patient Safety & Epidemiology”, a peer-reviewed publication focusing on pharmacovigilance, health outcomes, and public health surveillance.
Additionally, in collaboration with Medicaps University and SCRMP publishing division EndricScience, SCRMP will unveil a new interdisciplinary journal dedicated to pharmacy, clinical research, and drug development. This journal aim to provide an accessible publishing platform for students, early-career researchers, and healthcare professionals committed to evidence-based practices.
Academic Leadership
Medicaps University is playing a central role in hosting the conference, with Dr Sanjay Jain (Principal, College of Pharmacy at Medicaps University as Conference Chairman, Dr Hemant Khambete as Convenor, and Prof. Ritu Sapra as Organising Secretary. Their leadership, combined with support from SCRMP’s Faculty Forum, underlines the institution’s commitment to research-driven education.
