Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DPSRU), Govt. of N.C.T of Delhi, and Akums Drugs & Pharmaceuticals, have embarked on a collaborative journey to research on specific therapy-gaps and introduce novel products for Indian patients.

This industry-academia partnership will also enhance pharmaceutical education and research opportunities for DPSRU students. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) sealing this partnership was recently signed by Dr Harvinder Popli (Registrar & Dean - DPSRU) and Arushi Jain (Director – Akums).

The collaboration represents a step towards equipping students with practical, industry-relevant knowledge and experience, fostering a brighter future for the pharmaceutical sector. This partnership aims to empower the next generation of pharmaceutical professionals, for them to contribute to the growth and development of the nation. It is believed to be a harmonious alliance bridging the gap between academia and industry for the betterment of research and education in the pharmaceutical field.
