Appasamy Associates, a leading Indian manufacturer of ophthalmic equipment and devices in India, has announced the appointment of Annaswamy Vaidheesh as Non-Executive Chairman.
Vaidheesh brings over 35 years of core experience in the Indian healthcare and med-tech industry including senior management roles at Suven Pharma, GSK Pharma, and Johnson & Johnson.
He has a strong leadership track record in building organizational capabilities, expertise in market creation, developing new business models, and achieving significant turnarounds. He has held key positions, as President of OPPI (Organization of Pharmaceutical Producers of India) and Chairman of various committees and councils of Industry bodies in India and the Asia-Pacific region.
